Default Skidpan & Car Control Lessons

Alrighty it seems my other post was misunderstood. I was curious about legit drift lessons but lets reword.

Is there a way to legitimately learn how to control your car during skid/drift?

I know some car clubs run days at DECA but are there any for standard Commodore's. HSV owner's club used to do it.

The only other thing I can think of is Defensive Driver course which I have done the first stage and am booking for 2nd soon.

Hard to not sound irresponsible but anyhow, I do not want to drift but at the same time if a nice and safe opportunity comes for some oversteer I don't want to be the guy who loses it, ends up facing the wrong way on the road after coming to a complete stop and sheepishly driving away or worse still ploughing into a stationary object.

There is. I know this isn't much help, as it's in Canberra, but there's a mob called Fifth Gear Motoring (Fifth Gear Motoring Canberra) That do a lot of defencive driving and advanced driving courses. You can rent their track out privately (click the link for skidpan days, then go to private booking). They wet down the entire track, and if you've never been there before, they put an instructor in with you on your first go.

These are the kind of conditions you can expect for private groups -

    $135 - per participant for group booking of 8 - 9.

$110 - per participant for group booking of 10 or more.

BBQ Package - for group booking of 10 or more.
Each participant gets a fully catered BBQ at the end of the session.
    Ask for pricing and availablilty.

DVD Package - for group booking of 10 or more.
Each participant gets a professionally produced DVD of the day.
    Ask for pricing and availablilty.

Yeah that's exactly the thing I am after but in Melbourne

Cheers for actually realising what I meant. Anything similar closer to me?

Somebody has told me Calder hold drift practice, not quite what I'm after but could be worth a look.
