A mate of mine when we were at UNI nearly 10 years ago was a delivery driver for Pizza Hut and later for Pizza Haven. Some pay you per delivery. Something like $3.40 for each delivery you make. Others actually paid you an hourly rate. In both cases my mate had to use his own car.

Don't be stupid. Power isn't measured by the size of your tacho
My mate is 18 and gets paid $10 an hour and $3 per delivery for petrol.
dont work for pizza hut

My mate hates it, he works for Pizza Hut and he uses his own car. He gets paid like a $10 hourly rate but doesn't receive any money for petrol. Apparently they don't tax him and that's meant to cover the petrol costs.
But the running costs of your car such as tyres and maintenance will, in my mind, not make the job worth it at all.
I do pizza deliveries i dont think i i will give it up, i worked for 3 joints. The one i'm now pays $14 an hour plus $1 a delivery + tips. With the 6 hours i did on friday (70km worth of driving/ 18 Deliveries) i made just over $140 it can be worth it if you find the right shop.
