i was pulled over once last year and fined for talking on my phone. BUT it was only a timtam!!! i even have the receipt to prove i bought timtams and I'm sure my phone company will happily run the records to prove my innocence.
It was the only time i've ever been pulled over, and i was only speeding be approximately 10% which I'm pretty sure is allowed, but i reckon the cop has it in for me.

He also had one button on his shirt partially undone, i'm pretty sure they aren't allowed issue a fine in this condition can they?

Should i write them a letter or take it to court? I only have one point left but i reckon if i take the judge some timtams i might fix the points situation.

All help appreciated. By the way, i drive a 12 litre supercharged VN commodore brock with triple polarizers and soon to be turbo'd.

You know how you stop getting fines? STOP BREAKING THE LAW. If you speed, etc, suffer the consequences, or else deal with it. Want help with a fine? Ring the police and dispute it.

We don't dislike you. we dislike your actions. Had you come in here discussing your car, showing interest in other cars etc you'd be better received. If you have only been a member a week then it's pretty soon to expect anyone to have sympathy for you don't you think? We don't know you because you haven't gone to any effort aside from expecting our free advice and loving condolences.

Here's a tip and it applies to all new users on the forum.

Just because it's a Commodore based forum doesn't mean we all think and see things the same way - especially when it comes to driving attitudes. For some reason, newbies seem to think we are all going to go "oh, gees, that's TERRIBLE!.. How could the cops possibly be so mean...." and be really sympathetic when they post an "I've been boked unfairly" thread.

Well, we won't and you should be prepared for a bucketing if you do it.

LMFAO, i can tell you it's not 10%. In vic leniance rate is about 3km/h plus officers discression. Which is why you can get fined in the 3km/h-10km/h over the limit! Geez, whoever thinks 10% is dreaming... Unless you get booked at 30% or under, in which case yes the 10% rule seems to work there.
