What wankers, no wonder governments are coming down on car drivers so hard. No doubt we will hear the same arguments about how, its the governments fault, or its someone elses fault etc.

Funny, coppers never seem to come down hard on me when I don't break the law?

It's probably because I drive a V8, and before that a modified V6 with P-plates, I clearly don't fit the "hoon" profile so they'd have no reason to hassle me

welcome to the real world, actions of a few ruin it for all the people out there who do legal mods to their cars.

no point arguing it, you break the law and expect to get caught, im sure t his has been discused many a time on this forum. im sure a drag strip wouldnt fix the problem,

God i am sick of hearing about hoons and hoon articles, the articles tell us nothing new. Soon enough, reporters would have exhausted all angles to attack the subject from and will start claiming that hoons can now buy special rocketship packs as a cheap bolt on mod and are now hooning up in the air and dragging Boeing 747's, and the bird death rate will soar and the government will be forced to bring in new air laws.

Line lockers are illegal then? Strange, my mechanic showed me the rules that say as long as it doesn't affect normal braking conditions, then you're sweet.

I for one welcome these articles - they bring things up that i've never even thought of doing - strangely they might just be feeding the hoons with better tips and tricks to really get into it...

Same vn v6 doing laps up n down the prinny highway, thinkn he/she can beat every car on the road.

The article is about ACC, the All Car Club, whose membership base is not just Commodores as well as RCK.

I think you will find the Police are coming down hard on hoons in general.

I for one hope they do bring in new laws. The sooner they do, the sooner more innocent people will be killed from the resulting high speed chases. Not that they'll get the message then, but it will just get worse and worse and spiral out of control

So, aside from building a track, which would obviously solve 80% of the problem, what would you have the police/government do to tackle this problem?
