I have to admit I'm all for this sort of police action. The evidence is there in black and white, there is no need for cameras or pursuit cars, no danger the idiot will run and crash.

It honestly feels bloody GREAT when justice is finally been dished out to these idiots who think that wearing out your car more often than not is apparently good?

One good thing that we can say that would become of the outcome, atleast the numb-nuts who was doing all this crap to his car was stupid enough to post video's etc on his own FaceBook, honestly how thick can one be?

If that was me, which would never happen as I treat my cars with allot of respect, I'd atleast mark them as private so no random public can see them OR better yet, not post them at all and only 'SHOW' your friends on your own PC, so that way no one has a copy of the video(s) to spread over the internet.

I've always said that when I get my new car... I want to install a dash cam... and every week just send in a DVD to the local police station.

I'm always perplexed when you bring this up... how is it that you always seem to have a video camera ready / camera read to take photos and videos of these guys? Do you always walk around with a camera ready to take pics as evidence? and i mean what are the odds that you will be ready for it? most of them that i see are while i'm driving... by the time safely pull over, engage the park brake, turn off the engine and grab my camera, the hoon has finished (hun?)...

im not implying that you take videos while driving on your phone or anything but i would imagine you would get in the same amount of trouble for driving and filming than you would for dropping a patch.

or is it that it happens so often in geelong you can take photos easily, like prostitution in st kilda?

LMAO at the last part, pretty much it. I could go stand down near the end of our street at night and within an hour would guarantee to have something. Although, the videos I have already are from a night out when we were walking home. Seems people like to drive like absolute tossers in 50 zones

i did this to my mums neighbours it was so much fun i took photos of the doing stand stills and snakeys up my road and rang up the anti hoon number and they told me how to send the photos about 5-8 days later i found my self tang more photos when a cop car rocks up and looks at the car then a tow truck shows up its so much fun. i engourige all of you to do the same

I dont have a problem reporting hoon behaviour if its taking place in my street & continues to happen.But for a one off screech your going to get that every now & then.

But i dont agree with some one going out of theyre way just for the sake of reccording &/or documenting hoon behaviour just to Dob to the police.

I've been caught speeding 3 times in the last 6 years and have been let of with a warning once for hooning. Was giving my new LSD and gears a workout in a industrial park. Stupid stuff, but i was smart enough not to brag about it on facebook.

Does that mean I'm not entitled to a mature opinion now?

we record the JCCCNSW cruises via a few webcams setup in different cars. To date we're yet to have an issue and when you review the "in car footage" you see just how much of the day is captured in plain view of the camera, but we have the details there of who to forward the footage onto if someone decides to act up because I dont see why we should all suffer and be branded hoons because of one idiots actions on a cruise

I have no idea what you're trying to argue. What's "speed ed"?

And I agree... no one (other than Hardstylin) cares what I've done in my car.

Hardstyling seems to be under the impression that:

a) as some point I said that I've never done anything stupid on the roads

and

b) that because I have I am not entitled to have an opinion on this issue.

Just wanted to set the record staight that I don't think I'm mr.perfect on the roads, but I have matured a bit and my view on the issue has changed.
