    Default Martial Arts/Boxing Gloves

    Hi All,

Just wondering what some people would recommend to get for gloves
I need some new gloves because the ones I got are cheap and the velcro strap doesnt stick anymore.

Just went into Rebels Sports and they only sell EverLast and Twins. The store guy said that EverLast was the better choice. I am still considering others aswell. The problem I have now is that when I went there there are different gloves for different purposes and sizes.

Ok... well what I want from my gloves... I want my gloves to last for some time (ie velcro strap to stay strapped down not come of middle training/sparring) and I guess comfort.

What I do - I do about 3x 1Hour training sessions (a week) of Freestyle Martial Arts, where we use Bags, Waivers, Pads and occasional sparring. We mostly use the Pads though unless I'm at MMA (1Hour a week) and we go at it on the Bags and sparr.

So I'm looking at something that is kind of a allrounder glove (if thats possible). I know you can get Bag Gloves, Sparring Gloves, and Training Gloves. I hate Bag Gloves. and I know theres different sizes, 10-16. 10's are prob too small for sparring purposes and 16 are too big for bags (I think), so thought either 12 or 14 (prob 12 being the better one .. not so big and faster)

What are training gloves? are these my best option? I managed to figure out what the Bag and Sparring gloves are for .

Also, I've noticed theres 2 different materials used ... Leather and Vinyl? I'm presuming Leather would be the better option correct?

Side note - I don't do fights ... in a ring tournament stuff.

Anyway, if anyone could give me their suggestions that would be terrific. Before I buy a $100 pair of gloves and it's not what I needed.

    Hi Ben,
Thanks for that. I was looking for some UFC MMA gloves earlier, I ended up going with some RDX MMA gloves special edition blood splatter ones because I couldn't find a proper dealer that I would trust. So these gloves would be good quality? not some cheap immitation?

The UFC MMA Gloves. Have you used them before?? do they seem to be good quality?? Once my MMA gloves die, if these are good quality.. I might consider getting myself a pair of these.
