Radio code????

got a new battery in my car and i dont have the radio code. does anyone know if each car has its own indiviual code??? or can i just find out a code from someone who has the same model car as mine??

you have to go to a holden dealer to get the code.

no its not in there, the person i got my car off used 2 be a friend of mine but no longer talking to them and really dont want to have to ask them so im guessing i might just have to go pay for it at holden

take id and other stuff like rego papers with you to prove you own the car

if its only $25 i dont mind was thinking its like $100 or something, dont really want a new stereo my car comes standard with 10 disc stacker and i dont want to not be able to use the controls on the steering wheel if i change stereo

fair enough, just give em a call before you go in it shud be between 20 - 30 bucks also as previous said take ur paper work in to prove you own the car or they wont give you the code

if its the same concept as VS you can have a few guesses at it every hour. then it switches off for an hour then you can try again. It will take you a while but you can find the code this way.
