I threw one in the washing machine with a normal load the other day and I haven't used it again yet but it seemed to come out alright

There pretty easy to clean by hand, I use warm soapy water and they clean up great then just rince them to get all the soap out.
Might mention the meguairs spray wax is good for inbetween the paste waxing, same as the quick detailer.

I just buy new microfibre cloths. $10 for a pack of three, and I only polish/wax once a year, so it's not really expensive. Gets you one for buffing the polish, one for buffing the wax, and one for the interior.

I personally use slightly damp cheesecloth for applying polish and wax.

Clay bars are very well worth your time if the paint is contaminated. Just make sure you use plenty of lube for the bar

The clay bar is literally a bar of "clay", and as you wipe it over the surface of the paint, it picks up all the contamination on the paint. You then fold it over to a clean spot, and wipe again. So on and so forth. Once the paint is clean, it's ready for a light polish, and then a good hard wax to protect your perfect finish. Depending on how much you drive, you can use a clay bar to remove all the old wax, and then wax the car again. Next year, it's probably ready for another polish depending on the action your car has said. Clay bar, polish, wax, look after.

TIP: Don't wash your car up close with the gurney. Use a bucket and sponge at the carwash. Gurneys rip wax off

Don't claybar every time you wash dude. What a waste of time. All that will do, is remove your wax and leave the paint vulnerable.
