**** the Hoon Law (aka I fail at life thread)

Hey I have a problem that I need some answers too and the pigs are not helping me any for the obvious reasons.. I know it has nothing to do with my car, well sort of does but anyway heres my qusetion.

Can police in Westren Australia charge me with hoon law (driving more then 45Km/s over the limit) and seize my car just because they belived i was speeding? I drove my car past the south hedland police station today and they seen me out their window and i ended getting chased by every cop on duty except 1, 5 cars all up.. haha i know that coz i seen all the cars and the arsehole that arrested (and punched **** out of me for "resisting arrest" altho i **** wasnt) me told me when i was locked up in the cell that it was the whole force that come after me. they also say they got my speed reading by pulling behind me and just looked at their speedo in their VE Omega ha i know my spedo in my VE clubby says im going 4ks faster them i am, so if it said 80 really i would only be doin 76. my car has been seized for 7 days and i have to goto court on wednesday charged with reckless driving, does anyone know if that proceedure by which they got my speed would hold up in court for the pigs..? they never got me with a radar or lazer because they never had one haha.. i was on a 40k road and they say i was doing 100. I ask here coz im sure all you other guys and chicks on here probz would of had the same sort of hassles with the cops with all our awesome sweet az Holdens we all cruise around in..

omg the police hate my car so much aye, not coz of the way i drive it but coz its nice n loud like an Aussie V8 should be.. he said they have been looking for a reason to get me for months...

rightyfully they cant do u for speeeding if they never got a true reading from a radar cause i got pulled up by the cops in newcastle by an unmarked forestersayin i was doing 70 in a 50 zone but he said cuz he wasnt in the pusuit car he cant give me a fine only a warning the most they can do is get u for neg driving thats about it
as for the speedin bit id appeal it if they cant produce a readin from a radar they wont win

assuming the ve they jumped into had a calibrated and tested speedo, then it will hold up in court.

Are you serious about this? Never had an issue with doing 100 in a 40 zone, luckily for me I pay attention on the roads, something you seem to struggle to do.

You sound just like the stereotypical hoon, it's no wonder the media have a field day with it.

The odivous reason would be your attitude and I wouldn't help you either.

In Vic and all other Australian juristictions AFAIK all Police vehicles have their speedo's independently calibrated and checked as a matter of course. How fast do you claim you were going?

ha i know my spedo in my VE clubby says im going 4ks faster them i am, so if it said 80 really i would only be doin 76.

I think that is a standard VE calibration - both mine read 4 km fast too.

is there a reason why when someone puts a post on a forum there is always a ******** (like you) that replys with the shit you have. how the hell do you know what im like at paying attention to the roads. pretty much all of my focus is of whats in front of me and not of the pigs that come flying from around a corner that was hiding behind a fuel station.
Im not a hoon and i drive and treat my Clubsport with respct mate so don't go thinking you know how i drive my car..

Honestly, you must have been doing something wrong for almost the whole squad to chase you, and then, you were resisting arrest. I think you were showing them some attitude which would not have helped you one bit.
