i know how pointless it sounds, i mean...what are they for?

But i spent just over a hundred buying a laser from the states. It was an impulse purchase

Its a green one called "galileo - 5". It made it through customs in sydney and is on its way to me as we speak.

Compared to the top of the range ones, mines pretty weak. Other ones can burn through plastic and stuff. mines no where near that powerful.

Bought it off the company that supplies the US army with their lasers.

I know the assumption would be that ill be using it inappropriately like all those other losers in the news, but i dont plan to at all.

Anyone else got a green one? any opinions?

i have a 30mw and a 5mw green

and a couple small red ones that ive boosted up to 9volt

I was going to grab one but when the new regs came in that the greens had to be cut back on power I cancelled my thoughts of buying one.

Why did I want it? No idea.

Just like my new leatherman knife, I already have four other pocket knives, why did I get another one? No idea.

Yeah i wasnt sure on regs. not sure on the limit. but mine made it through so yeah.

Im having doubts that the beam will be visible on mine, hope it is.

I used to have a Green one and that was fantastic , till it broke . But it still was hours of fun just pointing a laser at things lol

mate got one when he went for a holiday to the phillipines, its green and looks like a parker pen almost..can see the whole beam and can shoot so far pretty sure if a lowish flying plane came past you would get it

I got one before the laws came in. Pretty fun at night, but just keep them out of the hands of idiots. Just a warning, even looking at the dot on the wall infront of you from the more powerful ones can damage your eyes.

I got a 50mW green one from china. cost about $30 and came through customs just find about a month ago. It busts black balloons and the beam goes forever at night.
