lol yes he is an actual person, he lives in my street aswell as the camera car man(well a side court coming off my street) what ive heard is snr sergeant Ritchie stuffed up a few years ago and they couldnt exactly fire him so they stuck him on doing the speeding fines.

Are you in Vic? When the TMU tried to do me for driving a high powered vehicle on my P's, the issueing officer was an Atkinson. was a really nice copper too to be totally honest. The female officer who pulled me in was a bit of a tough talker, but i just gave the "yes sir, no sir three bags full sir" routine to keep myself safe, then when she went back to the car to run my license, he said:

"Listen mate, i know you can legally drive these on your P's, the rego sticker weights for these are always wrong, but i hope you understand we are just doing our job for the safety of the general public, the other officer can be a bit tough sometimes, but we do realise most of you blokes do drive sensibly and safely, but we have to follow the law as well and do our jobs"

Was an Irish bloke. After that it gave me a majorly big extra sense of respect for Police officers, especially TMU, just for the fact he took the time to say that to me. I actually sent him a letter of thanks in the envelope i sent him with a copy of my new rego sticker with my cars correct weight and handwritten letter from HSV stating the cars correct weight etc and thus deeming the car as not a high powered vehicle that i COULD drive on my P's.

He rang me when he got the letter and thanked me for the letter, he then told me all the Vicroads forms and letter were in order, and cancelled the fine for me. Nice bloke.

Harden the F**K up, you got a fine big deal. So the Sgt sent you a ticket, a chief cook me some food last week, oh thats right its his job. If you didn't do anything wrong you wouldn't of got a fine. I've had a couple of fines you don't see my crying about it.

Can you blame them? I don't. If a bunch of young blokes critized the way i do my job all day and gave me greif for doing my work, i'd turn into an asshole as well (well, MORE of an asshole ). I have respect for Police, i can only imagine the types of people they have to deal with all day, along with all the smart mouth know it all P platers and general idiots. Then add all the drunks on the weekends in the city, the scum rapists, pedophiles, murderers, thiefs, arsonists etc.

I couldn't do their job if i tried.
