I cant find any information about defects. I want to know how much the fines for defects are and how to clear a defect . I was defected for bald rear tires and pod filter, the cop dident give me the notice on the spot and says its in the mail. Just wondering what i can expect to pay and what i have to do to have it lifted.
It can vary. To clear it you will have to buy 2 new rear tyres, piss that gay pod filter off that does nothing anyway and put a stock airbox and filter back in, get a roadworthy done on it, then pay the fine at Vicroads and they will clear it after they see the RWC.
That's what we have to do down here in Vic. You may have to take your car over the pits at the traffic authority where you live. That's a real bastard if you have to do that.

That's silly though if a mechanic does that, because if they decide to inspect the car at the RTA and deem the tyres unroadworthy, they will look at who cleared them as roadworthy and then the mechanic who cleared them will be dumped in deep shit.

Get 2 new tyres, get rid of that stupid pod filter and put the stock air intake back on, get a roadworthy done by a licensed mechanic, then take it to your local RTA, hand them the RWC and pay the fine, they will clear it there and then if they are satisfied with it.
Will cost you a bit, but that's your fault for doing burnouts like a twit and making your tyres bald. Hopefully it's a big fine.
Buick V6 burnouts = gay and fail.

putting peoples lives in danger is one!! what happens if u lose control of ur car and hit someone or destroy ur car with friends in it!!!! i know i couldnt live with that!! doesnt any young kid watch tv anymore!! look whats happening around u and wake up a bit!!
Nah, not as gay, because alot of them have turbos and are actually fast cars, Buick V6's however, are not lol.
What's smart about running your tyres down to nothing then having to buy new ones, cop a defect then have to pay the defect fine, having to pay for new tyres and having to pay for a mechanic to do a roadworthy on your car?
What's wrong with putting others around you at risk? What's smart about making smoke?

more to the point guys doing the burnout is one thing but knowing your driving on tyres down to the canvas is just being a total tool.
yes loseing control during a burnout is one thing but im sure it was done the back on now where.
driving home though on those tyres around the public is the worse. maybe instead of putting the car on the road and spending that money just go down to the local hospital and talk to some familys that are have been hurt by a ******** driving a unsafe car.
Good point Dan!!

I hope this is joke question.
Of course the bleeding obvious answers are
*because it is classed as reckless and dangerous driving
*because you could lose control of the vehicle and cause injury and/or death
*because you state you are driving on bald tyres which is illegal and jeopordises the safety of the general public around you
*because in SA your car will be crushed if you are caught
*because no one here likes hoons
Enough answers?
its fun. and im pretty sure ill get over it some day, i got 4 new tires so i F***** the old ones just for the fun of it, how do you lose control during a burnout? its not like streets around wollongong are wide enough for circle work so geting on the breaks is the best way to put on a good smoke show. You would have to be a total s*** c*** to lose it on the breaks.
You are a ****ing idiot.
