Pleasant insurance suprise
Well I am in absolute shock, after 10 years of being on my L's I finally went and got my P's anyway I thought it would be a good idea for me to be a listed driver on our insurance policy, just in case. So after a couple of months of nagging hubby to call up insurance and get me listed he finally did, Now he really didn't want to cos he thought it would cost a lot more cos i has stuff all experience, so he asks for a quote..... Then shock, horror,the dude said your insurance will go down by $148. Hubby was very shocked and said are u sure thats right, the the dude said yeah, so he asked how the hell that works and well the guy explained it. Seems that they consider a an unexperienced female driver a lower lisk than a 26yr old male driver with a relatively good record lol. Because having me as a listed driver they percieve it as my hubby will only be driving it half as much time so much less risk LOL.
