Red face turbineless steam turbo - s*** or good idea?

Ok I have a strange mod I want to do with my car, since it puts out 225,000 watts peak and alot of that is heat, would the following be a good idea?
Its not a free energy type device.

    1. Titanium pipe is feed from a water tank then over the extractors creating steam through a one way valve
    2. Air is added through another one way valve like an air compressor spray paint gun except the "air" is steam and the paint is air.
3.This compressed combo is placed into the AFM and even with the butterfly closed/partially open it continues to build up pressure until reaching 7psi

Now I know free energy freaks have posted here before and you guys knew what you were talking about, so assuming enough air was being forced into the stream would this increase the power by changing heat into pressure like a turbocharger? or would it just run too rich because the air/water ratio would favour the water?

just throwing an idea at ya.

First problem - Water source. The idea of having to "refill" your forced induction is bad, as a regular turbo is only limited to how much fuel is in your car (i.e. the turbo works when the car goes, and it works because the car goes).

Second problem - Water does not combust or compress. I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly, but you would be feeding steam into the engine? Also, what is a AFM?

Third problem - The lag would be everlasting. Waiting for water to heat to boiling point would take forever.

correct me if I'm worng, but wouldn't that port water (in the form of steam) directly into your engine?
anyone else see this as a bad idea?

lulz at the tags on this thread.
the lag and refils would be the problem, but the water in the engine in volumes you'd be dealing with wouldn't be a huge issue, i've seen guides on water injection into boosted engines as a charge cooling solution.
also you'd be dealing with a hot gas, forced induction you want to get as cold a gas into the cylinders as possible.

the volume of steam and the amount of heat you are placing into the engine would not be of any real benefit. Years ago they used to make water injection kits for high compression engines to stop pinging.... i assume they still make them? i haven't been in the high perf industry for a lot of years!

but keep thinking..... thinkers are the innovators of the world..... for every 20 ideas that won't work, you might just get one that does!!

Just stay away from these kinds of ideas

im about to use water inj and ill have to refill it. it hitting the blower means it may turn to steam and that steam from what ive read cleans your engine and goes into the pistons to be compressed. it would depend on the amount of steam that you are useing to much would be bad. and like pow3rslave said you do want the charge to be cold for more power. and if you cool steam down it turns back to water.
