Great Country

Well folks I am now back home in NZ (crappy cold weather) after two wonderful weeks in your wonderful country, I met the most wonderful friendly people,saw terrific scenery and had a realy great time. I got a pair of VT side marker lights & amber bulbs from Autobarn in Bundal for $49 Aus, the staff there were great, they gave me hell for being a Kiwi, I gave it back Good old ANZAC rivalry ha ha. Got a dashmat for $20 Aus ($50 out here) and a few other bits and pieces.
I have never seen so many VR/VS Commodores before, just about every third car I saw was either a VR/VS what about those Toyota Lexan, we dont get them out here, I like the idea of shopping online, will it be available to us down here?. Anyway enough of my dribble, thanks for a great holiday in a great country.

well im ashamed to be an aussie right now guys ... possibly the only friendly and nice kiwi in their country came out to our lovely country to have a good time.

seems like he achieved just that, and posted his thanks as a fellow commodore fan and not a single bloody one of yas found 5 minutes to reply.

he's probably out in his backyard crying his little kiwi heart out being consoled by his sheep because he had the best holiday of his life and you bastards didnt even thank him for coming and spending his (nearly worthless) kiwi dollars with us here....

Hehehe... I wasn't even a member when he was out here... But I not long ago got back from a couple of days away in NZ for work... Was over there in Auckland.. But I gotta say, they have a lot better Jap Spec cars over there... So many versions of our normal cars are actually Turbo's there.. Spins me out...

Anyway ... NZ has been kicking us in the rugby, so the less we say about that the better..

Great country - I would have thought coming from new zealand to australia would be degrading. Countryside in nz looks a million times better.

That's OK...half the people in Oz secretly would like to live in NZ I reckon...lovely countryside, friendly people, snow, good roads...don't think I haven't had the odd thought or two in that direction myself over the years...maybe down somewhere near Oamaru where we know someone...or maybe near Napier in the North Island...very nice...

mates parents stayed over there not long ago, liked the place they stayed that much they bought it.

might try and hit them up for a loan of their house for a few weeks soon.
