Just a quick Q folks, and this is for the Victorian members
Am I correct in assuming the following?
If I purchase a vehicle that has current registration, and I acquire a roadworthy certificate, VicRoads do not require to inspect the vehicle upon transfer of ownership?
Thanks fellas![]()

We always do the same, only ONCE did they kick up a stink over it. We just changed the date and went back, and from now on I just date the transfer form the day or the day after the roadworthy and havent had a problem. Could just be the "lady" at our local Vicroads which has a problem with everything.
Awesome thanks for the info guys!

I'm going through that right now. Once you have submitted transfer papers, you have 28 days to get a RWC.
