    Default Stop Partner From Snoring...?

So my girlfriend has been snoring like a truck for the last week, and I'm about to go insane lol.

Has anyone got any tips or remedies to stop the foghorn?

I usually just roll her over and it stops, but I'm having no luck with this recently.

Ohh, and inb4 put something in her mouth.

Send her to the sofa, that's what I do. If you can't stay thin enough to not snore you don't belong in the bed anyway. Harsh but never a more true words said ;p

Greenfoam: It's not only overweight people that snore you know. I am very slim and been told I snore. Last year in Darwin I was sharing unit in which 3 men, none of whom where over weight, all snored loudly all night long. Others in the unit wanted to kill the lot of us.

My wife bought me this ring that you can buy from the chemist . You put it on at night on your little finger on your right hand .Aparently there is a pressure point on that finger that helps control snoring, It has a raised section on the inside which pushes on it .It hasn't cured me but is it heaps better.
you can also buy throat sprays too. Check the instructions first because some are not to be used if you suffer from asthma
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't

Lol she's not overweight, she's actually starting to get a little cold, so this is probably the cause.

I tried the pillow on face, pilow under her back, and tickling her lastnight and none worked lol.

Man i feel your pain. My missus only snores when she is really tired though. She cracked it badly at about 4am this morning when i rolled over and woke her up and told her to stop snoring or go sleep in the guest room. That, and when the inside of her nose gets itchy, she sniffs (no, she isn't snort drugs lol). I'm like "AT LEAST STICK YOUR FINGER UP THERE AND SCRATCH!!!!!!!" and she is like "Errrr i can't help it".

Well not only but 90% of the time it is, it seems all you need is +5kgs over skinny and you will snore. At least that's what I've seen when people go from non snoring to snoring

Nope, ear plugs don't completely block the noise out.

Well unless she snores as loud as an angle grinder it shouldn't be to much of a problem

by experiance , just tilt the head upwords, this will make the air passageway fully open

if there is still a noise, just see a doc, a simple surgery ( just a few minutes ) could remove any extra tissue in there if needed, it very common , and almost normal
