I used to own a salt walter talk, with an assortment of awesome fish, but had to move... so they stayed behind : (

I then got a tropical fish tank... which was great untill someone decided to unplug the filter for a few days, they all died bar one lonely angel fish..

In my next house the misses and I will start up another salt water tank, I cannot wait =D

The misses used to do all the maintenance lol.

It didn't require to much maintence, but we used to change 1/3 of the water every month. Used to use salt water from the local pet shop...

have a festae, used to be in a tank with about 5 other fish, and decided to eat them.

so removed him and put him in his own bigger tank, and put a couple of bigger fish in there thinking he would calm down, but he ate the bigger fish aswel. so now is in a bigger tank by himself.

Ive got two tanks with Australian bass.
Ive got a big tank in the garage which is home to 3 bass around 15cm which we caught wild in summer. Ill probably let them go in about a month, I feel slack because they really don't belong in a tank.

And in the other tank which is in my bedroom I have 2 young bass about 4-5cm. That tank is set up just like a tropical tank with driftwood, plants etc
I'm going to get more as I originally had 4 but 2 died.

Bass are awsome fish to have in a tank, especially when you feed them crickets they go crazy!

Ive had a fishtank/tropical fish for the last 8 years, its great having fish, they are the best animal

Mat, that marine setup of your brothers is awesome, I wish I had the time to keep one similar. I'd hate to think of what he has spent on it over the years.

My parents have a tropical setup, nothing overly fancy. They have a ghost knife who is about 35cm long

have a 90l tank in my room

    3x ghost knifes
    2x bristle nose
    3x medium loached
    3x small loaches
    2x something-or-other shark
2x something or other glass fish
    20x tetra neons

Had something go through the tank a few weeks back so i lost a few, just waiting for it to all settle (which is appears to have) then look at adding a couple more.
