anybody have any experience with multi fuction inverter style chinese made welders?

i'm looking at getting a welder at home, multi fuction.

AC/DC tig
ARC
plasma cutting (some models)

was looking at 160A Tig/AC/DC/Stick/40A CUT4in1 *ergonomics. for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand

I couldn't see the slope on the front, I knew they came from china but thats misrepresenting, sorry I know its not a joke. But I have a friend with one of these similar machines and he seems to love it, although it won't do all your welding requirements and some certain types of alloy cannot be done with it, I would price up what it would cost through say The Toolshed, they have good warantees and pretty much same Chinese products.

need something so i can do exhausts and alloy intakes/plumbing at home. plasma cutter would be a bonus
