I think this proves SA needs a drag strip, then they could race there and not die on public roads.

Baskets should be definitely be illegal as they can impede vision of curbs, and then subsequently injure the rider when they hit 'em and go over the bars.

They might have to make the drivers pass a full phisical like you have to when you get a Cams licence. Then you could fit a Cams approved roll cage, make the driver wear an approved driving suit and helmet.
I have heard of two people being killed down here and both of them were cleaned up by cars when they went to cross the road after they pulled out from behind a parked car.

And to back up minux's post, this comment from someone on there

These gopher drivers are dangerous hoons - 11 deaths in 9 years, that's more than burnouts and drifting have killed!

For once Queensland has something right as they have to have rego plates up here.

For everyone in the other states, devise a plan where a few hundred people rent or borrow these 'gophers' and be a huge menace in the city or around your states government buildings. Generally just block roads, do 2km/h in traffic, etc etc.

-Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short Phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
