lol.. i just did this to my mates car.. take out the ash tray, 2 screws there, take out the button like fill in things near the demister and something button, 2 more screws there, unplug the wires from behind the demister, other switch and one between them. Then it should pull out with a bit of force from the bottom as the top sits behind a lip. Should come right out with the radio attached. 4 screws on the radio that are on the bracket. Should be really obvious from there. The antenna wire is hard wired in so you'll need to snip it and get a new plug for the wire.

If you follow the antena wire from the radio to the ariel you will find a connection near the passenger kick panel , just unplug it from there and buy a 1 metre long ariel extension cord and plug it in.

yeah they are a pain till you work them out. You get it out just that inch or so then its stuck. You gotta undo (as above) the heater box wire cables at the box end. They are just a clip to let the outside anaconda off and the center wire just un hooks then. Ones on the passenger side behind the glove box there and i think there is another one on the driver side somwhere.
