disposing excess petrol

Hey all

does anyone know where I can get rid of excess petrol in Sydney?

The boat fuel tank is almost full of stale fuel, we want to tip it out and put a fresh tank in before the boating season begins but I have NFI where I am able to go to tip it out.

got a dump/refuge place nearby?..bottle it up in old oil bottles or something and take it there..usually they have places for flamables, oils and car batterys

fill them all up, know someone with a dunga cheapo car who wouldnt car about fuel give it to them

my mate use to run his VX Sc on my old 2 stroke fuel, ran quite well

Or use a product called Chornco 2082, they use it in tankers to keep the fuel fresh, but have heard it used to petrol also, although its bloody expensive.

use it for parts cleaning, I use old fuel to clean loads of stuff from engine & car parts to cleaning my chainsaw.

A 14-year-old boy in China has been drinking petrol to be like his Transformers movie heroes Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, reports say.

"Since the boy watched the film, he started drinking gasoline to become a valiant fighter," the West China Metropolis newspaper reported, citing his father.

Optimus Prime, a main character in the Transformers movies and cartoons, is a huge robot that can turn into a truck.

He leads a heroic Transformer faction called the Autobots, including Bumblebee, against an evil robot group called the Decepticons.

"We were shocked when one day we found out the boy drank half a bottle of gasoline from our motorcycle," the father said.

"Since my son started drink gasoline, his intelligence dropped sharply.

"Before that, he was a very smart boy, and he could even repair the television. But now he does not know the answer of seven plus 17."

The teenager's mother also told how the teenager likes to inhale the liquid gas in lighters and has stolen lighters from a grocery store.

The worried parents from Sichuan province eventually took their son to a Yibin City hospital.

Doctors said the boy had mental disorders and a strong "gasoline dependence".

"The gasoline contains a lot of lead, which can do harm to people's brain," Peng Houquan, a doctor at the hospital said.

"To make things worse, the boy is in the physical development stage, and the lead has caused serious damage to his body."

My lawn mower runs great on old boat fuel, so does the boat for that matter. In fact i think stale fuel is very much under rated. You could even use it in your car, just throw a bottle of octane booster in with it.
