ford laser dying when idol
my mate has a 92 ford laser KL, and hes having problems. start it up and it idols, then it dies. if u keep ur foot on it it stays on. take foot off pedal and it dies. any ideas on what it could be?

check vacume lines. But seriously if its still driving then just drive it to the wreckers, i dont want to get stuck in traffic oneday cause its broken down in the middle of the road

As people have said, check vacuum hoses for leaks, check the IAC is working>
Did the car show any other symptons or was anything done to the car before is started acting up or did it just happen out of the blue?

KF/KH laser man, check for vacuum leaks. It's carby yeah?
easy fix: wind the **** out of the idle screw and then pack it out a bit too. 3000rpm idle ftw
