My drive-thru maccas rant

Saturday night at about 4:30am I went through a 24 hour maccas drive through after a night on the town (sober before you "never do anything wrong" people say something).

Long story short it took 45 minutes to get a simple Bacon and Egg muffin meal. I was there long enough that my MAF heated up so much it went spastic and threw error codes at me.

Any one else had a longer drive through time then this?

Nah 4am brekky starts here. I was thinking about blasting them and throwing the food back at them.

However my conscience got the better of me.

Firstly....You waited for 45 minutes? Thats ludicrous. I would have left after 10 mins max.

Secondly....You left your car idling. Even if it was only idling for 10 mins or so. After 5 mins max I would shut it down.

Thirdly....Obviously you weren't pissed cause you stated you were sober, so why not head home and catch some zzzz's and come back in a couple hours for brekky?

Forthly...I have 3 good friends who are Managers at our local Macca's store and there is no way that a single meal has ever taken 45 mins to make....thats just hard to believe!!

Fourthly: Believe it or not, if not tell your friend managers to pass it up the COC that hiring 15 year olds to work at 4 in the morning just isn't working, so stop hiring pimply faced retards.

LOL you just don't quite get it do you kiddo... from the time I ordered to the time I got my food was 45 minutes. In a single lane with cars in front and behind, hell, if it's there "policy" I'll give them the keys and they can park it... If they can do it without going up a gutter, into a concrete wall then taking out the side of all the cars in front.

FYI, the car was in no danger of over heating. The engine temp didn't rise what so ever. However, the MAF absorbed enough radiant heat from the exhaust manifolds to give false readings which the car picked up on. Hence the error codes.
