For the last three years my wife has suffered with elbow and neck pain due to a work related accident. She has had surgery to no avail and has limited use of her arm .She has been in pain 24/7,takes so much medication she rattles and has been told that "this is a good as it is going to get " and has told to seek pain management classes to deal with it . Last week she was talking to a friend who has chronic back pain up until a couple of weeks ago and hadn't been able to work for months. They had a couple of treatments from an acupuncturist and has noticed a big improvement . So my wife booked herself in a few days ago and after one treatment the pain has virtually gone and she now has about 90% use of her arm . The transformation is unbelievable . I was just interested to see if anyone here has had acupuncture and what the results are .

Yea i had accupuncture twice for my back (footy injury) and the pain had gone nearly straight away but does come back every now and then but its no where near as bad as it was. Ive also had it for my shoulder and the pain went within a day and hasnt been back.
ive wanted to try it for my neck but you allways here storys about people getting it and they hit a nerve or your spinal cord and you neva walk again last story i heard like that was at paddys markets in sydney probly not true but a scarey thought..

ah ok sweet whats it worth dude i might have to look into it
Swear by it, but just be careful who you get to do it. I've seen 3 different 1s, an only 1 has the ability. I have gone there on crutches an walked out. I have strucual back problems an is a great alternative to the medico's answer of painkillers.

I've just recently had it on my right shoulder blade. the Physio i went to down south in Bunno is excellent and uses the old style chinese "real" version of it, and again it was instant relief. I still can't handle looking at the actual needles.....power of the mind and all that lol, but it was great.
After the needles, he put on a patch on my front side then a patch on my back of the shoulder and it was like acupuncture thru pulses, and i had control of the strength of the pulses. I asked him if i could buy the machine from somewhere and he said it will take some looking, and it'll be expensive, but i guess after paying to go to physio, the coost of the machine would be very well worth it. Especially if your wife suffers badly from the pains.
Fully recommend you go take her to get some done. It is totally amazing how the senses work thru the body.
My shoulder feels great and i'm going back for more again on Monday night.
