hay
i have a late 80s early 90s pk ripper frame (original dirt bmx) even tho it is not the rarest model i want to bring it back to its former glory. i will probably be using redline parts as pk ripper original stuff wasnt to advance and giv it all a fresh lick of paint put sum 5 spoke tuffs on it an probably sum white walls for the whole oldskool look.
just a question does any one here have a pk ripper or ownd one as a kid or sumn i wanna no, o yea if u hav any pk ripper bits n pieces u wanna get rid of let me no
thanks all Skruba
yes yes they r hence why i want to revive my old one its not the fancy looptail model(were a weak design) its the box frame with nbuilt seatclamp witch tells me its about 85 onwards feel free to leave pics of ur dooshy
oh yeah luvn the 09 looptail
pretty sure the built in seat clamp came in in about 91 if its the double one, me and my brother had about 3 frames between us around that time, we used to race bmx, awesome frame, the best one was the 92 model that had the pitbull mount on the chain stays wish I'd kept that one instead of selling it to my brothers mate. goldcross cycles in melbourne have had the new ones for a few years now they were the exclusive importers of SE bikes for Vic from memory http://www.goldcross.com.au/#/?page=bmx&id=30
me and my brother used to have a couple of the Landing gear forks too and their bars and camo padset too but they've all been lost over the years. spewin
Your right about the loop tail design being week my bro snapped one of them through the seat and chain stays he was livid that he did it and wanted to re weld it just so he could keep it as a suvineer

I had a PK Ripper XL back when i was 13 or so, raced BMX at Happy Valley in SA. It had Landing gear forks and was decked with race gear. Unbelievable bike, stood up to an incredible amount of punishment. A lot of dirt riding, not all of it smooth. Some biiig hits aswell. Nothing bent, nothing broke etc. Rode it in State Titles to 6th place aswell.
Was the newer ones though, would have been a 2001/2002ish. I sold it 2 years ago to a guy in Queensland for $600. He was restoring it and rebuilding it.
I used to have one also! LOL @ the landing gear forks!
Until i broke it!
Then i bought a GT frame & all was good in the universe again!
Anyone remember DG? Now that was a good frame package!
dg was a gud setup i wish could find old lansing gear just to bring mine bak to its glory
im riding a new sunday wave 2 atm, i wish i could find an hoffman taj frame
