Had my rear bootlid keyed up the other night. w***er, nice big thick one too.
which makes me wonder, what motivates someone to do that to someone else's car? makes me sick.
BTW if anyone has a tiger mica bootlid vt/x with or w/o spoiler, or even just a vt/x bootlid that is located in WA please pm me because I'm interested in buying it.
thanks
stuart.

Assuming you didn't accidentally piss someone off (e.g. cut them off or steal a parking spot), then it's probably
a) a person who thinks you're a hoon because you drive a "hotted up" car and you should be punished for driving such a car.
or
b) lowlife scum who think you should be punished for being able to afford a nicer car then them.
or
c) a person who dislikes Australians and think all people who drive Commodore's are Australian, and thus should have their cars keyed.
sad but true.
Same thing happens to people who drive Japanese cars... low lifes go and key them purely because it's a foreign car are they don't like foreigners. They seem to target people who have exterior mods (bodykits, altezzas etc) the most.
That's why i keep the exterior of my car completely stock. Seems to attract less attention from those kind of tools.
or d) Just a wanker who thinks he is top shit

I have a wonderfull stripe along the statey. Thankfully it's just permanent marker, not key scratch.
Just parked in the wrong place.
I dont care if it's not my car......if i see you doing it, it's not going to end well!
I can't wait until the day that i hear from one of the people i have installed a shock system for. The day i hear that someone who keyed their car got a massive shock.

Alien that sounds cool but would they get shocked if say they had a plastic or rubber grip on the key and they were holding the grip? I`d like a security system that has a robotic arm that comes out with a rubber stamp with tattoo like permancy that says f&#kwit that stamps into there forehead, gives them a awsome wedgie and then knocks them out cold wilst dialing the police using say a UHF siginal to your mob, oh yer, id go out to the lot to give them a kicking before the police arrive![]()
Not sure if anyone does them in South Australia, i do install them in Victoria. Requires a spare battery though. You will also need to display warning stickers of the shock system for people. The system was designed to shock people who key vehicles or try to break into them, also works on parking inspectors who go to pick up your metal windscreen wiper
Depends how close their finger is to the metal, with the amount of power in these systems it can jump from metal to body.
Some of the installs can be linked to a paging alarm that sends out when it is activated (or shocks someone) so you can go have some fun and know you can call an ambulance or police.
guys im really serious bout getting a shock system can u pm with the details on how to get one im in nsw
cooks food for a living, frys tyres for fun
Its because you have a really nice car, thats why so many mercedes and bmw's get keyed. Its just people that are jealous, they probably have some piece of shit car.
what is a rough price on one of these shock systems?

would really love one of these shock systems. but, are they legal?
If someone just decided to do that to my car i'd see red. The only time i'd ever do it is if someone damaged my car and refused to pay for it.
I'd like to know if these shock systems are legal too.
What if some old fart with heart problems, high blood pressure etc. is walking by your car and puts his hand on your car to steady himsef, and then carks it because of the shock?
Just curious... not saying they aren't a bad idea, but I immediatley thought of some old geezer croaking it from getting a shock.
i immediately thought of asking a mate to open my door for me haha thankyou 12V![]()

Youre right about the hoon thing, you can't park anywhere in a lowered commodore without little old ladies shaking their heads and scummy street urchins staring at your car
which explains why were so popular.

simple fact... "they are jealous" .... game over![]()
Social, research shock systems, they're a bit more than 12v :P
And it wont nessecarily work on all painted surfaces of vehicles (depends on the type of paint), it works for exposed metal though across the whole bodywork as well as when someone digs a key through the paint to the metal. So it's also fairly safe for that elderly gentleman with a heart mumor or whatever who rests his hands on your boot lid to steady himself.
