As the title says, has anyone had any problems with TNT before or is it just me? Ive made 6 orders from different companies before and they all shipped with TNT. Out of the 6 orders, 4 of the orders had gone missing!! Generally i have to wait about 2 weeks before the insurance claim is settled meaning i never get my order till a month or more after due date.
Just of late last thursday i ordered some tyres from tempe and what do you know, declared lost in transit today! Is it just a run of bad luck or are these f*ckwits that completely incompetent that they have managed to loose a set of f*kn wheels! Honestly, how do you just 'loose' something as big as that. Yeah maybe a gift card, but f*kn wheels! f*ck me!
Anyway, made a complaint to fair trading bla bla, just wanted to know if anyone else has had any dramas.
TNT are shit IMO, we used to use them at work, an entire pallet of pet food went missing. Pallet was worth around $3000. So we ditched them.

We use them at work pretty frequently. They've damaged, beyond repair, multiple 42" plasma TVs. Usually one a month or so, plus all the minor, small things that get broken and lost.
Blokes across the road from where i work have a recording studio, they have pallets of expensive recording equipment etc sent to them from interstate (each pallet worth around the $20k mark), so far, two of their pallets have suddenly "gone missing" at the depo AFTER they had arrived AT the depo.
This was about 8 months ago, they still haven't been recovered.

We Use them (Theives Not Transporters) every week at work to send a couple of pallets to queensland from perth. So much stuff has gone missing it is not funny. It either gets stolen or takes over 2 weeks to get delivered. I do believe COPE are quite good as mentioned above.
sound like im not the only one! check out this websitehttp://www.productreview.com.au/show...stamp&is_asc=1, there are 36 reviews on TNT, guess what, Every single one of em state the obvious.
Any recomendations on getting wheels sent from Vic up to Nth Qld??
Was going to go TNT Road.. But now I've got 2nd thoughts lol.
Had a steering rack sent down from NSW to VIC, took a whole week! But hey after reading the above I should be thankful I got it![]()
Use Cope(COPE sensitive freight) or Sadliers, Use them both at work and can't fault them
One day a staff member will speak out on 60 minutes you know with there face blurred out, either that or TT or ACA will do a undercover investigation on them with hidden cameras catching some fat trucky jamming a new LED TV into his back seat.
I remember the one they (TT) did on aust post in QLD (apparently the worst in the nation) of staff taking home some extra crissy bonuses in the form of gift cards containing cash and boxes with gifts, dirty dogs.

Hmmmm, we've used tnt a bit, and never had a problem.
Toll ipec are also pretty good.
Every time Ive used TNT I've had a problem.
First time they were the couriers for our new 2k+ fridge, they made it fit through the front door because they refused to take it through the back door (uhh that sounds wrong), result one brand new damaged fridge, complained and claim it on insurance. They come to deliver the second new one, this time using the back door but breaking the door arch in the process.
Second time was buying parts off a sponsor here, after two weeks I rang TNT, who said ring back with the consignment number, or atleast where they are coming from. Ring back, the dumb bitches tells me it will crash there entire network if she does a search, Im like I work for a computer solutions company and that is not going to happen unless you employ moudly bananas for your IT department. Finally got onto someone with 2 cents, who told me there was no such delivery. The parcel turned up the next day.
I used TNT to send one of my motors from here to Sydney on a pallet a few months back. Took it to their yard in a 6x4 trailer which has a cage and a door on the back which lifts up. We got the pallet in there without even touching the edges using an engine crane...and the chick on the forklift (there's the problem right there lol) just about dropped the pallet while getting it out, plus she bent the door of the trailer up, which bent my hinges and bent the strut.....geezus!
I normally use Kope but the buyer wanted to use TNT, so it was the first and last time I'll be using them.

ok, latest up date. At 9.00am this morning i received a phone call from the newcastle TNT depot, guess what, my parcel WAS there and had been sitting there since friday last week, just received my wheels today. How can something be declared lost in transit then magically 'reappear' at the back of the depot. Sus much? Damo304 pretty much sums it up, Thieves Not Transporters. Sounds like to me someone has come to work and gone "oo nice set of mags, might get a grand or 2 on ebay for em, ill just pop em in the corner for a few days and see if we get a complaint" (not that theyed know if they got a complaint anyway, customer service is run by a packet of f*ckin fruit loops). Anyway, all is resolved, would i use TNT again? only for a bank heist
Used them once, we bought a big basketball hoops/stand about a month before xmas from an online store, was supposed to take 2-3 days. Waited a couple of weeks didn't arrive, called tnt got given the run around put onto different people none knew where it was or wtf was going on, I had one of them try to tell me they delivered it. After many calls we finally got it about a month later. I would never use them again, worst couriers ever! I haven't had any problems with any other couriers though
i used to work for them for quite a while.
never noticed things being stolen.
there were a few occasions when stuff was delayed or missing, but DEFINATELY when something was missing it was looked into straight away by the floor managers, they'd check the video footage to see any suspect shit happening.
if it was found to be stolen person got fired and from what i know they replaced it.
the main problem with calling TNT is that you are dealing with stupid office chicks who know nothing about it all. hence why you try to talk to the floor managers of the facilities. eg sydney, laverton, brisbane etc etc and not the stupid chicks.
as for all the bad complaints, ive had no issues with them at all.
i did have one delayed item, but that was my fault cause i wasnt there when the package was delivered (twice....but still my fault) and ive had a few items come through tnt. no hassels at all.
