Selling a vehicle with custom plates in SA. Process anyone?

hey guys,
Just got a buyer for my car but i have custom plates i was told i need to transfer the plates or something other than jst the rego papers..? if anyone could lemme kno wat appens wud appreciate it cheers.

call and ask the licencing centre. you need to transfer your "right to display" custom plates into the name of the person you sold it to, just fill the form out.

Depends if they are taking the plates or not.

If they're having the plates, fil in the transfer form. If your keeping the plates, you have to 'remove' (not sure what the form is called) the plates from your car, and put the standard issue plates back on. They will usually ask for the custom ones back if your not transferring them to another car (but you still keep the agreement)
