mate, soundwave is the best gig i have ever been to. if you get into punk, rock, hardcore and all genres along those lines u will love it

If you into the music you have to go you just can miss out on this sort of thing. The energy that the bands give off is better then anything else out there. Personally soundwave shits over BDO, it dosn't even come close, but i am telling you with this years line up get your tickets quick cause there not going to last long.........

What bands would be keen to see?

My favourite thats playing would be Escape The Fate, but keen to see a few others just because they are supposed to be good live, HIM, My Chemical Romance

as has been said SW shits all over BDO

Since SW came on the scene BDO has died in the arse.

SW this year was mint, and next years is going to be great too.
BDO has more of a range of bands/music.
SW is based on punk/rock/metal (heavier shit than what you get at your BDO)
and also the V festival which is i think in April next year.

I think bands like Faith No More and Janes Addiction are wasted on kids today. For the most part though, there are a few acts I would like to see.

Apart from that, try to keep your ticket dry if it rains. I went to see one of the Nine Inch Nails side shows from this years SW, and I heard people in the crowd talking about how it took so long to get in, then it started raining and the tickets wouldn't scan so they couldn't get in...

hmmm yeah allthough im only 18 and everyone i speek to who is going is really pumpd to c FAITH NO MORE, the highlight for me will be TRIVIUM should be a good day/night only thing will be ill have to wear plugs wen MCR come on so i dont kill myself from hearing them!!

Next years line up is alot better then the one we last had. It almost rivals the previous years (killswitch) There getting bigger and bigger.

Only shame is that Blink arn't playing THAT would make it epic

Plus if you dont like MCR just like i do theres is going to be something else on that you will be interested to hear. Its great to check out new bands. Although i have seen them pretty much every time they play but The Amity Affliction frikin went off up here in Brisbane, they always pack a crowd
