Got a plumbing question in relation to the regs. How close can a copper water pipe run near to a man hole. A reg Number would be good too.
Reason i ask is i got a solar hotwater unit put in with the tank still down the side of the house. The piping all looks good on the outside but once it goes in the roof to go to the panels the piping has been basically just laid straight across the timbers in the roof on an angle and overtop of any high points(so it dosnt sit flat over the timbers either) and it runs straight over 1 corner of my man hole, not by alot but it definatly makes it more difficult to get in the roof now.
Basically it looks like a bad job but i dont know if they have broken any rules there, or its just poor practice with what they have done. If so theres prob not alot i can do about it.
not sure what the regs are but i work in commincation cabling and the plumbers do this all the time. pisses me off.
