it was awesome to see them on jon safran's music jamboree. they played The Nips Are Getting Bigger on the instruments of Iran

there r certainly one of the all time great party bands of oz rock.....seems like just yesterday riding me pushie doin the morning paper round listening to the nips are getting bigger...hard to fathom that 30 yrs has passed since them days...but at least music was music back then, not just boof! boof! boof!

they play regularly for free at my local pub (Ettamogah) some fridays.
I know the words to every song and have every album, loved them for years but they are well past their best and with only Martin and Greedy left sound pretty ordinary now. Saw them a few months ago and prefer to remember them when they were good. They recently sacked the original drummer for being too loud and replaced him with an old bloke who looks like he has one foot in the grave.

Play a CD of them but dont go and see them unless you want to be dissapointed.

One of Australias best ever bands who should have quit a long time ago.

I heard for the 30th anniversary that all the original members where playing together again with the new blokes been stage for some songs as well....this thing tonight (18th) is at the Apple store on George n King St's.....I agree they aren't as good as the use to be, but enough bourbons should help with the sound.....lol
