goin down lower main north east road in my bosses xf going to work

and then the xf DRIVING NORMALLY all of a sudden goes from 60kmh to 110 then goes to 20kmh then i rev it and goes to 140kmh. THEN THEN hang on THEN the imput shaft comes out the side and is rolling down the road misses bout 6 cars and leans up on a lion statue. so S**t box piece of crap xf is sitting on the drum on the bike lane and the tyre still has the imput shaft in and evryone is looking sayin wtf wat a piece of crap and im like xf power bro anywayz wasnt expecting that ay

I think he means the tailshaft lol. Exactly how a tailshaft would just come out like that, provided its been installed properly I don't know, but that sounds more likely to me than the axle popping out.

And yeah...leaning up against a lion statue...I wonder if that means something....hahahahaha.

sounds like a broken universal joint caused it..... XF is 1986 so over due for replacement.

lolololol yeh xf s r pretty unreliable plus there just heaps of crap very ugly and ITS A FORD got it fixed they ended up putting a new diff in it would have taken alot of time to clean and make sure there wasnt any shavings inside
