Hi guys my girlfriend got caught speeding by the redlight camera radar doing 75 in a 60 zone in her car. Shes on her Ls. If i take the blame what will happen to me. Im full licence. What would the fine cost.

she cant afford to lose her licence coz we just found out shes pregnant and shes almost got her ps. Needs her licence to get to appointments. It was a speed camera and a red light camera. But the light was green but still flashed so i guess she got done. Shes 18 and im 22 she has lost her licence before and got put back to her Ls.

how would i kno if thers a photo or not. She had to get in the other lane to turn and the car next to speed up so she couldnt so my gf put her footdown a bit. Car next to us got done to, they were on there ps lol

mate it only takes a pic of the licence plate not the driver... just say u were driving.. it will 1 point and bout a $300 fine i think.. not quite sure.. buts its only 1 point for a speed camera.. if she got caugh running a redlight then its 3 points and $327.. but only 1 point for speeding.. just say u were driving. i no my parents have taken points for me before. its easy mate. and yeah if u do take it mate give her a sturn talking.. oh mate if u take the point it will be on ur record for for 5yrs.. so mate if u do take it u will have 11 points left thats if u havnt lost any b4.. but mate u will be fine taking it u can take the points and get her to pay the fine!...

15kmph or over is 3 demerits and about $330(might have changed)... but being full licensed u have 12points anyway

there not that hi tech they only use the picture for the number plates thats it unless you ring them and want a photo to see who it was

She was speeding, she knew what she was doing if she was going over 15km/h, when you are on your L's you have to be more cautious and check your speed every 5 seconds.

Well if shes on her L's presumably theres a big yellow L on her windows. So even if you were to claim it was you driving... the police would have a pretty easy time piecing together it wasn't you.

i hope you're not whipped. make sure that she pays it if you take the blame. give her a good slap on the bum as well, she needs to know that what she did was wrong. you'll probably need compensation for the points as well, come to think of it.

Well being a fellow older Lplater (Im 19.. Yes laugh away) I understand it does get difficult and annoying, Every licensed driver nailing in my head I'm speeding, So to save me copin an earful.. I stick to the speed limit, which by the way is the law. If she didn't wanna get done for speeding, she shouldn't speed.
When she's on her Ps, What she does and speeds in her car is upto her.. But her being your responsibility (as you are the licensed driver) your suppose to be teaching her the 'propper road rules' because she won't ever get her Ps driving like that in a test..
I also believe you both lose points too.. Correct me if im wrong.

Yea im pretty sure both lose points and get fined.. Its what I've always been told anyway.. Mum always does it to me.. Sets the speed at 80.. And it does the beep beep going over then from over back under.. So you just go 81.. To 79.. To 81.. To 79.. Soon got that off haha
