sorry if this is in the wrong section but i need help
i have an amp that has the ground wire connected. and pwr wire running straight to the battery (thourgh a fuse) and the remote wire running to the head unit!
now the amp does not work! unless i bridge the remote and pwr wire! but this means when i turn the car off the amp starys on! if i run them where there ment to go it dont work! anyone help please need it for the weekend!
Remote wire must not be connected properly/or to the right source. Should be connected to the blue REM wire on back of headunit, you might want to test it with a test light/multimeter first to see if it works, otherwise you can connect to any accessories source (such as cig lighter) as a temp fix.
Power is measured in DECIBEL
As said above: Remote wire.
Check the headunit doesn't have 2 dark blue wires. If it does, one wire should have a white trace, this is for the power anntenna. Or if it's a Pioneer headunit, try using a relay.
Also, if you use the ciggy lighter trick, and it's still not working, remote trigger INSIDE the amp is busted.
so i can just connect the blue wire from the amp to the + on the ciggi light and it will work?
Seriously how hard is it to post in the right section?

Settle down man.. He is a new member. If you look, he acutally has posted up in the car audio section as well.. Maybe something along the lines of "Hey 'im-timmy'.. You might get more responses in this section: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/car-audio/ . Thought I would help"

thanks tr3nt and yeah sorry my bad as it says in the first line!!!!!
well it wont be that as when you jump it from the power wire its working so it cant be that, you could also put a switch in,
straight power to switch with inline fuse and from the switch to remote on amp, just flick the switch on when you want the amp to run and flick it off when you dont!
