I know heaps of people who have done this with the old push bike, obviously the outcome isnt as bad, but it really doesnt suprise me its happened on a motorbike, I bet hes not the first to do it either. Poor bastard.

Poor bastard. I will remember this every time I clean the chain on my bike now. Makes you think about all the easy things you take for granted that are really quite dangerous if not done right.
