Yeah i can spot maybe 1 or 2 names that or worth going for. Karnivool and maybe Grinspoon, but Grinspoon you see quite a lot of if youre into local gigs and stuff so its nothing special.

Rise Against, Grinspoon, Karivool, Kasabian, Groove Armada, Magic Dirt are the ones for me.
The others are fairly shit.

Very poor line up. As ive said to a few people. BDO has died down alot since the introduction of Soundwave and the V music Festival.

I saw The Prodigy at Two Tribes many years ago. They are just as good live as you could imagine. Man they went hard on stage, rocked it like NUT JOBS for their whole set. Pendulum, just as good live.

I saw Mastodon couple years ago with slayer, were bloody awesome!!! their clean singing isnt so good live though.... and theres alot of it on the new album

but will still go just to see them if no other metal acts are booked

And for me, 2010 line-up is heaps better than 2009. At least I'll hang around to watch the headline act this time!! Neil Young wasn't very exciting.

Rapt Karnivool are back, I missed them at this years BDO. Hope they get the main stage this time! The Mars Volta!! Muse!! Rise Against!!
The missus will enjoy Lily Allen and Lisa Mitchell. Just means I've gotta make sure she's got a friend there so I don't get dragged along to see them if one of my preferred bands are playing at the same time.

First announcement is good for me so far... hoping to see The Butterfly Effect/Cog/Mammal/Dead Letter Circus show up in the next announcements. But I'm definitely going.

Can't please everyone that's for sure. For me it's a good line up. I like the variety. I've just realised it's missing the hip hop though isn't it? There's usually a handful of hip hop artists in there, especially the Aussie ones. Not complaining though... it's probably the reason why I like this line up better than previous years... there's just more indie/rock in there.

I like his stuff that gets played on the radio (Triple J) but I've checked out his myspace page and the music on there is fairly crap IMO. Will check him out at BDO though if it doesn't interfere with someone better.
