So we all know Tiger Airways is cheap, and well shit... Share your shitty experience here!
Heres mine, or my Girlfriend's...
Back in August Lisa was booked in depart from the Gold Coast on her return flight to sunny Melbourne. On check in Lisa was advised that Tiger had over booked the flight, and they asked if she would accept a later flight, and a $100 voucher to use next time flying with Tiger Airways.
So today Lisa tries to use her $100 voucher to book another flight to QLD to visit her now 12hrs old nephew, it turns out Tiger Airways after being on the phone for an hour have decided that her $100 voucher is worth nothing, and don't seem all that willing to help her out!
Never mind the fact that Lisa was put out greatly by the fact that Tiger Airways over booked a flight, but it also effected her financially as she missed a shift at work also. Thanks a lot for all your help Tiger Airways; should we send you send you an invoice for our time an money wasted trying to deal with and assist you? [ / Rant]

i love that Tiger Airlines show. Getting to LOL at those people who don't realise you get what you pay for.
I flew Tiger the other week, and I cant work out what all the fuss is about.
They have set times you must check in by, if you dont stiff shit same as the other airlines I've flown.
I found there alot less mucking around with Tiger then Virgin, and Tiger wernt strict on Carry on luggage size, also when coming into Melbourne airport, the parking is shitloads easier
The ride was quite comfortable, staff were very friendly, and there cheap, which shows with there lake of terminals, crappy tickets etc but who cares.
I'd fly Tiger again, if there the cheapest next week, Ill be flying them again.
I've only flown with Tiger once.
They were the only carrier to offer a direct flight to melb.
The only gripe i had, was the walk from the plane to the terminal.
It was sooooo long, i could have used a bar at the 1/2 way mark.
