hi all just wonder what people thought of tonight's hey hey? i loved the show growing up, always a laugh, entertainment. back then there was 6 commercial per break guarantee no more no less not like now, every couple of mins commercials of crap. and programs ran on time not this 8:40 rubbish. back to original question....thoughts?

didnt he keep saying it was the 'first and second last show'? If its only back for two eps, it should have stayed off the air.

I had that exact same thought. I watched it and loved it. Soooo much better than all the other shit thats on TV. Its the first time in a while that Ive actually sat down and payed attention to what I was watching. And to me it felt like back in the day, unlike most remakes that just arent the same.

I find it funny how you guys are like 20 and remembering a show that finished 5 years before you hit puberty :P lol NO chance you would have ever understood what blackman ment when Take that? came on the show and the 14 year old girls up the back went spastic and he said "Mop to the back row!". It was a very deviant show, but you didn't tend to notice if you weren't old enough.

You probably missed all Ozzie's career too! and it was never as good once he left

It was reported on 24 July 2009[6] that Daryl Somers and the Nine Network had agreed to a deal for two specials to air in late 2009 and, if the shows rate well, the two will negotiate the return of the show to its original format. The specials will be a mix of old and new content and will air Wednesday September 30 and Wednesday October 7.

i would say it did very well tonight. i know a lot of people watched it, and the 7:30 timeslot on other channels wasnt really filled with a grade entertainment

and yeah foam, im too young for the morning show. i just remember having good times watching things like red faces, plucka duck, etc. think i mightve entered for plucka duck once or twice haha

But yeah at first I never noticed the humour because I was too young but it was waaaaay out there once you grew up (it mentions that on wiki too)

Agreed, i miss light hearted spontaneous comedy like hey hey. I will be watching it today, every person i spoke to thought it was almost like they were never off air!!

Sadly, i think our country may be just a little pc for this show now

yeah i enjoyed it was fantastic unfortunately dont think it will be back for good to many people needed permission fom other channels\foxtel to be on the show for theses 2 special episodes

i believe it was, i know they're trying to get ozzie back for the next show.

it was a good change to what normally is on and hopefully daryl can neg a new deal to get them back on tv permenantly.

Definantly a winner, they used the original sound effects, voice over etc, i thought it was great, almost 100% like it used to be. I hope it stays on air too.
