Hey guys wondering what use guys think of the aussie top gear and when its coming back on tv???
I got a clip here of youtube watch the first 10 seconds of it, its of the new ralliart evo 10 i drove it 12 months ago now had to work on it, after the gearbox was blown up after only 600km shortly after it did it again lol,
Also drove an identical one only it was a manual red one was an auto :P
at the time of me driving it there was only 2 Evo 10 ralliarts in australia and there wasn't to be anymore in anytime soon also got to drive a few prototype 380's one 290kw supercharged 380 it was owned by the head of mitsubishi or something special like that at tonsley park
Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, now that's what gets you...
In all honesty....I hated it. I watch one episode and that was it. Saw bits of others and well....maybe I'm too used to the English version. But either way I thought it was crap.

Tomorrow doesn't look good either.
God must love stupid people, He made so many.
poms are much better.. the aussies try really hard to copy the poms which makes them suck.. if they had their own think going then itd be cool cause they roadtest commo's and the like and not the all new fiat 500.
i thought the aussie one was good...good if it came back
I think the aussie one was alright - you've got to remember they had a lot to live up too.
Four commodores and counting.
Once they got rid of Charlie Cox and brought in James Morrison it was good. Bit like comparing apples and oranges though when putting it up against the English version. It'll take a few seasons to really get going, just like the English one did. Remember they ditched that fat guy and brought in James May. Changed the dynamics of the program considerably and definitely for the better!
Back in the hope things have settled down...
I didnt like it either, It like that show called ''The office'' which originated in the UK... The americans shouldnt have touched it.
Compared to TGUK, it is a tad lame...but for an Australian motoring show, I think its a considerable step forward. Honestly, if you think TGAU is bad...spend some time watching pure CRAP like "Drive" or "The Car Show"...you'll be back.
its ok, id still watch it , but prefer the UK version
first season was crap, second was a vast improvement with james morrison. kinda looking forward to the third season...
I liked Steve Pizzati, but that's all. I stopped watching it when Warren destroyed the HZ Kingswood in awesome condition.
Not a fan at all. I'd rather watch paint dry. It's not even remotely entertaining in my opinion.
I prefer TGUK.
Clarkson, Hamster and Capt. Slow are natural
entertainer's.
Although it is beginning to feel somewhat contrived
nowdays.
I'm not afraid.
