90% of 'good deals' i get on ebay end up being shit, ie broken, damaged, not what i expected etc. yet i keep on going back. soon enough i think i'll stop buying second hand stuff altogether - i just haven't had many good experiences with used items.

Nah, paypal are wankers and wont approve my bank account, so i told them where to go.

It shouldn't have mattered, i gave the guy the recipt number (as i do with all transactions) aswell as a copy of my bank statement with the transaction listed, the minute the auction ended, yet he was still a moron about it.

yeah? well i bought a guitar for $600 and paid by bank deposit (which i don't normally do) and it never showed if i had used paypal i probably could have got my money back

yeah i only use paypal or COD. i had a 0 feedback person tell me to deposit the money into their bank account, and i told them that they can either take cash on delivery or keep the item. i ended up getting the item anwway, but doubt i would have if i deposited the money into their account.

Can't say i have ever really found a bargain or "good deal" on Egay. It's just good to buy some harder to find items. But they are usually expensive anyway.

I got a 5ft fishtank with stand, hood, filter, heater, a couple fish and a few other bits and pieces all for $200. Was an awesome deal, the reason it was so cheap was the location- I had to drive a couple hours up north to pick it up.

Picked up a guitar I always wanted about a year ago at a bargain price when the aus dollar was high from the US. Love that thing.

My old man is forever picking up old ford parts from the US for his GT. A lot of the mustang, mercury etc parts are interchangeable.

Definitely a lot of bargains on ebay if you are patient.

ive only ever bought little sh!t off ebay like stuff for my iphone. i bought like a light up shirt off there a little bit back, paypaled the cash and never got it.. i went to send a q to the guy and ebay didnt have a clue what the transaction was and didnt show in the my ebay window
