    Default Radar Detectors

Just regarding a recently closed thread about which radar detectors are used, the OP is in WA, radar detectors are legal in WA. He also spends time in the UK, where they are also legal. Making the statement that they are illegal over her in Australia is incorrect.

I was thinking the same thing when I seen it but it was already locked.

There isnt a debate in to speed or not to speed, its the fact that it was said they are illegal in Aus, they are LEGAL in WA.

Just commodores does not condone speeding or breaking any other rules. Radar detectors are used primarily to alert drivers of police radars, if they weren't speeding they would not have any need for them. Whilst they may not be illegal everywhere in the country or world it doesn't mean we are going to permit such topics on the forum. Think of it this way, junkies do drugs- illegal right? so a junkie posts wanting to know wheres the best place to buy syringes... do you think we would let that shit fly? No freakin way and we're not going to let this shit fly either, theres plenty of info on google re. radar detectors.

    Anyway had fun.

Radar detectors are only used for one purpose. To not be caught doing illegal activities..ie: speeding.

We do not condone that here. If people wish to talk about radar scanners etc there are tonnes of forums out there on them and tonnes of people who are more qualified to give correct answers.
