Back in my hometown of Nhill this week there has been a massive reunion called "back to nhill". It officially finished up today with a fly-in, that I drove back for. As well as having 2 winjils, a wirraway, a chipmunk, a tiger moth, CT4, and countless light aircraft on display, the local historic cars group put on a bit of a show.
I thought I'd share some of the pics I took of these hidden treasures:
My family is very involved with the local aero-club so I spent the whole day running around doing odd jobs and didnt get any photos of the planes, but I have plenty of video for anyone who is desperate enough.

Apart from the Camaro id swear that was a show from the 70s
Keep in mind that the population of this town is probably under 3000, and there were probably 1500 there.
Pretty disappointed that the mustang (the plane, not the car) couldnt make it because of Victorias shitty weather. As far as I know there was meant to be a harvard there as well, and at least one other couldnt make it

Woww, did you forget to mention there was historics when you were telling me about this the other day?
I'm sure I would have been much more interested if you'd told me that!
Or was I just not paying attention?![]()
I was mostly involved in the organising of the plane side of things, so while I knew the cars guys were putting something together I had no idea of the standard of cars they had hidden away in the farm sheds out there
In person you can see that the amount of work gone into every one of these cars is amazing. Same with the resto's of the warbirds.
Official numbers are well over 2000 through the gates. There must have been noone left in town!
