BOB Jane is set to turn the Adelaide International Raceway into a "hoons' haven" - and the track could reopen full-time as early as next year.

lol, if this place re-opens Adelaide people have a lot to live up to. It should be the richest track in the world with how much money people are will to spend there, also by many accounts from people on here Adelaide should also have a zero hoon issue...yeh right.

Good to see something open, but I doubt it will stay open long, to many people will whinge that it costs too much to go there.

This will happen about the same time Canberra gets the drag strip that the Government has been promising for the last couple of years. I hope it does happen but how much will it cost to get your car into the track.

love to have a strip but going by the millions of "rumours" before this one, its not likely anytime soon. personally im saving for a snow mobile because hell is going to freeze over long before i get to line up at that christmas tree........
