I cant seem to get this grin off my face, its occurs after i drive my car and wont go away till i stop thinking about it, if i go for a drive again it comes back etc etc,

Easy to fix that condition andyman!

Just bring your car to any shopping centre in Sydney; leave it over night and your grin will turn to frown.

Turn the vibrating cushion on your driver seat off. That should do it

I'm assuming you are actually refering to driving a manual now?

Only way to get rid of the grin is to convert it back to an auto! lol

Put a Ford badge on it!! You'll have the same fun but again it will turn to a frown after you get out of the car and look back at it while you lock it.

jester, yeah because of the manual box, youll be surprised how much sound differance it makes, there is no dirty wheezy whine they make from the auto box, and with the twin pipe exhaust on it, it dead set has the deep note that almost sounds like a stock gen3

or do what i did to my grin off my face in my 5speed subaru take side ways up a gutter and into 3 trees that got rid of it real fast then it came back when i started useing my vp auto like a manual now it is gone again now my auto is stuffed maby i should get a 5speed

Its good to hear it all went smoothly and is running! I'm planning on coming down before Christmas (yeh i know its 2 and a half months away but Im running out of weekends!!) but Im sure I'll see it before then.

I was looking on Ebay, 190KW engine and the manual transmission from a wrecked SV6, if only I had the money ... and a second car that stays auto for the damn Sydney peak hour trips, which brings me to my solution - come to work with me this week, we can take the M4 carpark - i'll give you a tired left leg to worry about
