I know there is a thread for everyone's msn, (which should of been a sticky) so I' am now creating a Thread for your MSN/Facebook/Myspace/Twitter etc address. Feel free to add yours. Please state if you would like people to contact you first to let them know that they are adding you.

With things like Facebook revealing identidies (unless people have put up alias names) not a lot is sacred any more. Plus, if someone simply doesnt want them on thier Facebook/MSN etc; there's always the "deny request" otion

Ditto to what Trent said. If you are stupid enough to have your profile for people to see it then that is your fault. That's why they have an option on these sites to have it viewing by the public or by your friends only.

Just trying to point out that with your email alone, someone could get upto a fair bit of mischeif.

Either way, I'm not fussed.

Absolutely, but I believe the most they can do without 'hacking' into any email clients or such they can set you up on lists of some sort FOR EXAMPLE porn lists and have your email address spammed? (talking the general everyday internet user here, no complete worlds most wanted hacker) which again, is at the risk of the person who creates that email address.

I think this thread should be locked. Anyone wanting to form social contact away from the forum can simply send a pm request.

90% of people have their email in their profile anyway. And plenty have an msn link which shows up in their miniprofile in every post they make.

On the flip side, i don't see the difference to the state specific msn threads and this 'general' one.

probably no ta good idea to be putting these sorts of contact details up on a forum, and a public one all the same. never know who is lurking and could sign you upto goodness knows how many spam email thingys.
