If it's one of those cheap unknown brand ones don't waste your time. My mate bought one, paid to have it installed on the Tuesday and then paid again to have it removed on the Wednesday - the worst sound quality I've ever heard in my entire life!

If you are buying it purely because of the price, remember that you get what you pay for. You want quality with a warranty, then save your pennies and buy a decent unit.

Otherwise the old adage applies: a fool and his money are soon parted.

12V DC is still 12V DC even in the US.

Have a look to see if its region free or coded. US and aus DVD's are different. If its region free, it'll be fine, otherwise it'll be locked to US dvd's and no good here. CD's have no such coding so they'll work anywhere.

Have you taken into account postage? US warrantys are probably not valid in aus either.
