hate people who open their door on your car!!!!!

nothing annoys me more than inconsiderate people (i could use another term) who open their car door on others cars!.i had my car fully resprayed about a month ago,took it to a place today to get a wheel alignment and ballance.didnt notice at first but when i got home,on the passanger front door is a MASSIVE chip and dent where some asshole has slammed their door into mine and not said anything!!! gunna get it fixed on monday,cost$200!! whenever i open my door whatever car it may be im always careful not to damage anyone elses car and mine! as i said inconsiderate ASSHOLES!!!

Yeah that sucks, especailly on modern cars that have no rubbers. I much prefer to have a car with heaps of shopping dents pre installed into it when I buy it. Then you have zero stress. Zero stress is good, much more important than shiny paint

Yep it sucks, same situation as you mate.

Just had 2 doors and rear quarter/bumper resprayed about 4 month ago,
back door has multiple scratches and rear quarter has a long scratch along it.

You kind of have to expect this now, people are so inconsiderate and careless

I done it once.. but i left a note on thier windscreen so she could call me..also had my plate numbers on it to..

She rang, but she didint charge me.. Just said, thank you for admitting it ;P
So now.. i got an ew friend that i meet up with

But, shane.. if the car park or where ever it is parked.. you could ask for CCTV footage? might not help.. but ya never no!

I remember a while ago a 40 year old guy got arrested for punching a woman in the face in a bunnings carpark after she dinged his car with her door while he was sitting in it. when get got out and asked what the hell she was doing, all he got was a mouth full of abuse, so he walked over and punched her.

I know if I ever was sitting in my car and caught the person who did the 3 that I have on my car, I would probably do the same thing. Nothing worse than standing there admiring the lines on your car when your eyes are drawn to and notice the door dings all along the side..

I dont condone hitting women, but I would have really had to restrain myself in that situation

Me and my old man were sitting in his car once, When some old fella pulled in beside us, Opened his door and slammed it on dads car (brand new Isuzu D-Max). Took a small chip, But dad thought allright I can live with that, He's old he made a mistake. Anyway we were still sitting there when the old fella came out again, Opened his door and guessed what, Hit the car in the exact same spot. Dad was fuming but since he was an old prick just said a few words, Then the guy started having a go at dad because apparently he was parked too close to the line. You could have fitted a trolley through it. Some people are morons, If I ever dented someones car I would leave my name, number and a little sorry note.

this is quite likely. wait for one of those busy holidays and someones looking for a spot and sees a car parked over two. theyd probably go kick every panel on it. not to mention the possibilities of parking tickets/fines. its just a stupid idea

And there's HEAP of lazy ass people in the car scene that will lean on your car while talking to you, it's dead set easy way to ruin every panel on your car so I've never been shy of telling people to stand up straight and get the hell off the car a small ding is one thing but a ruined panel is another

this is one of my pet hates people who dont give a shit about their cars so they dont care if theirs get scratched whilst they bash their doors in your pride and joy mine got a scratch right in the middle of the door from this its only tiny but its the only one so it drives me nuts some people just have no respect i refuse to park next to a car full of dents or scrapes on the bumpers for fear they will take mine out whilst reversing out..

This is why most times i go anywhere near a car park i take my ute. That way if any idiot opens their door onto my vehicle the first thing it hits are the side steps, thus chipping their paint, not mine

I always take care around other peoples cars, can't say the same for other people though, I've had some old guy pull up behind me and hit my previous car once, he wasn't looking and hit my rear bumper, thankfully there was no damage, but I wasn't amused. Plus I've had the commie keyed when it was sitting in the parking lot WHERE I LIVED AT THE TIME!!!! I still haven't got it re-sprayed, but whoever it was that did it is lucky I never caught them...
