i just did a bit of research about my torrie and found out that it has a high performance 308 in it. i mean it hasn't been driven since 91 and ive been too interested in the commy to care but yer, i just went onto this thread and found out that it has balls, big ones.

so i ask, what things have shocked you about your car that you didn't expect??

you really needed the VIN to tell you it had a 308?

Anyway, I found out my ute used to be a bench seat, because it has a 3rd seatbelt in the middle.

i needed it to tell me that, cause i didnt know if it was 253 or not and the engine is full of redbacks. i need to get it fumegated. but the shocking think is that it has a high performance 308.

I found it shocking that I have to repair/replace items that die with age, and that said parts cost lots of $$. Who would of know?

My old man few months back bought a 06 Hilux SR5, he was getting suspect each day about the car, turned out it was a SR model, crashed at BHP mine somewhere and most likely rebuild from another stolen SR5, luckily he rang the guy he bought it from and got all his money back
