Had the same thing with the app at work for his mechanics tools. He had to get the boss to send off for it and then you get a credit card type card that you have to use at certain stores and you swipe it and use the money on that till its gone. Or you can buy one bulk kit for say 900 or 1000 and add the difference yourself..

Not understanding what you mean by schooling.. Do you mean tafe fees etc etc..

yeah the tool allowance forms go to your boss they sign it and then the gov sends you a cad thing like BOGANV8 saidyou take it to the tool shop and buy what you want, your tafe fees are seperate, and will depend on your employer. youll probably have to pay for your books and that. your boss may put you on a plan where you pay $10 a week instead of a lump sum.

talk to the boss, it's a government thing the tools, you get a card, and use your tools at a collection of stores that will cover your trade.

as for schooling, thats your responsability, start saving, cert 3 in electro systems tech isnt cheep.

some places pay your school fees some do not. Where i did mine they didnt pay as they had been screwed over by people in the past who never went to trade school. If your pay yourself you can claim it back on tax also if your a low income earner and are entitled to a cencession card you get it for about half the cost
